Billy Joe Bolton - LIMESTONE
Mr. Billy Joe "Gaggie" Bolton, age 81, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Bolton was a native of Washington County and son of the late Everett & Mary Alice Walker Bolton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolton was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Charles Bolton Sr.; daughter, Nancy Patricia Bolton; great-granddaughter, Summer C.V. Lewis; brother, Howard Everett Bolton; and a sister, Lorene Constance Bolton Pope.
He was a member of Mt. Bethel Christian Church.
Mr. Bolton retired from Magnavox and was a farmer. He also retired as a lifetime member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department as Deputy Chief.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary Sue Bolton, Limestone; sons, Frank Bolton and wife, Sandy and Timmy Bolton; grandchildren, Lisa & Bobby Durbin, Scott Reaves, Randy Bolton Jr., Jody Eliza Bolton, Kim & Brian Headrick, Shaun Bolton, Chad & Kristie Bolton, Sandy Bolton, Jonathan Hartman, Jason Bolton, Amy & John Lewis, Nola Bolton and Rose Bolton; 23 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces; and special friends, Lori Miller and Robin Brickie.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2010, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home and other times at the home of Timmy Bolton, 406 Washington College Station Rd., Limestone.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Marvel, Pastor Charles Morgan and Chaplain Donnie Bailey officiating.
Interment will follow at Limestone Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shaun Bolton, Chad Bolton, Jason Bolton, Jordy Whetsell, John Lewis and Jonathan Hartman. Honorary pallbearers will be Limestone Volunteer Fire Department and Honor Guard.
