Tedde Dicken, 56, of Elyria, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at his home.
He was born December 17, 1953 in Elyria and was a 1972 graduate of Elyria High School.
He was formerly employed as an operations manager at Crane Aerospace in Elyria. He had been active in Little League East, where he had coached his sons from T-Ball through seniors. He enjoyed all sports, played golf, bowled on the Thursday Night Elks League and had played fast pitch softball in Lorain and enjoyed family vacations.
Tedde is survived by his wife Jeanne (nee Willoughby); sons Tim (Krissy) Dicken; Andy (Ashlee) Dicken; grandchildren Madison, Isaac and Haydn, all of Elyria; sister Sally Schwartz of Springfield; brother David of Elyria; stepchildren Shane (Nikole) Blankenship, Brook (Christina) Blankenship, Brande (Jonathan) Briggs; stepgrandchildren Tommy, Gillian, Avery, Callista, Bailey and Felicia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Beverly Dicken.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Reverend Carmen L. Muoio will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Elyria Little League East, c/o Dicken Funeral Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
