Deedra Marie Christiansen, infant daughter of Ross and Brenda Christiansen, died Sunday, April 11, 1999 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Survivors include her parents, Ross and Brenda Kiel; a brother, Colin at home; maternal grandparents, Dean and Karen Starks, Columbus, Wisconsin; paternal grandparents, Ray and Chris Christiansen, Kiel; maternal great grandparents, Ray and Hildegard Morgonroth, Glendale, Wisconsin. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Dean and Brenda Starks and son, Spencer, Fond du Lac; Scott and Pattie Christianson and their children, Carri and Leslie, Jackson, Wis.; and Kim Christiansen and his children, Kayla and Steve, Mukwonago, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Friday, April 16, 1999 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Marcia Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Kiel City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 pm Friday until the time of service.
Our Baby
When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals always question
The wisdom of His Love.
For no heartaches compares with
The death of one small child,
Who does so much to
Make this world
Seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires calling
The aged to His fold,
And so He picks a rosebud,
Before it can grow old.
God knows how much
We need them
And so He takes but few
To make the land of heaven
More beautiful to view.
Believing this difficult
Still somehow we must try
The saddest word that
Mankind knows
Will always be goodbye.
And so when little ones depart,
We who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children
Angels are hard to find!
