Michael Leon Gabriel Hegg, 23, of Lafayette, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday 31, 2010, in Indianapolis.
Born March 14, 1987, in Lafayette, he was the son of Carroll Leon and Vera Junine Ellis Hegg.
Mr. Hegg attended McCutcheon High School and was currently enrolled full-time at Ivy Tech State College. He also served in the Army.
He enjoyed music, playing video games and reading.
Surviving with his parents are a daughter, Hailey Kelley of Plainfield; and two brothers, Travis Hegg(wife:Kara) of Avon and Shawn Hegg (wife:Corby) of Plainfield.
Also surviving are an Aunt Shirley Hegg Fletcher of Homer township, Ill.; 4 Uncles, Don, Lonnie and Kenny Hegg, all of Lafayette, and Dean Hegg of California; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Michael was preceded in death by grandparents, Quintin and Virginia Hegg and Robert and Aileen Robbins.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. today, June 2, 2010 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909. Services 10 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Soller Baker Lafayette Chapel, the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery.
