He was the Son of A.D. "Skinny" Gordon and Hattie Bell Grady Gordon and the Brother of Lancaster Gordon, Sarah Ann Gordon Macon, Freddie Ellis, Henry Moore, Charles Naylor, Freddie Jean Edwards, Mary Irene "Teet" Benamon, Janie Faye Rush, and Geraldine Rush.
