Warren died at the home that was his son Benjamin Partch's. Ben was a prominent business man during the 1860s until his death SEP 28 1872 in Hiawatha, KS. The land Ben owned was given to him by Joseph Main his brother-in-law. Joseph received the land as part of slave vs free state fight. Warren's father-in-law John Stearns fought in the revolution and died at Warren's house in Vermont in 1823. When his wife Sussanah Stearns died in 1863 Warren moved to Ben's house to live.
