Born November 20, 1923 in Gunnison, Utah, a son of Christina Velera Anderson and Soren Nielsen. Married Shirley Throssell in 1950. He was a Veteran of World War II. Served in the U.S. Navy and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Graduated from Henegers School of Business and attended the U of U.
Survived by wife, Shirley; three sons, Steve, Brady, Tracy; a daughter, Dana; grandson Joshua, all of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 1990 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East).
