William Clark Wagner, 88, died at his home in Nelliston following an illness of several months. He was born in the town of Palatine, Feb. 23, 1854, the son of Jeremiah and Charlotte Getman Wagner.
On Feb. 18,1882, he married Mary Etta Sponable of the town of Palatine. He is survived by his wife, two sons, George Wagner at home and Henry J. Wagner, Fort Plain; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Diefendorf, Fort Plain and four grandchildren.
The funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon with Rev. E. R. Kruizenga, pastor of the Firs£ Reformed church, officiating. Burial was in the Fort Plain cemetery
