Gene L. Lumbert, 59, Springfield, died at 8:56 p.m. Friday in Cox Medical Center North.
He was born Sept. 20, 1928, in the state of Washington.
He was a retired baker for Holsum Bread Company.
Survivors include his mother, Grace Lumbert, and a son William Lumbert, both of Springfield, two daughters, Debbi Johnson, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mary Butts, Springfield, a sister, Wilma Hufft, Springfield, four nieces, Donna Hurley, Grandview, Sherry Hall and Gayle Childress, both of Springfield, and Judy Hester, Blue Springs; and a nephew, Charles Hufft, Arizona
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fordland Cemetery with the Rev. Lowell Kendrick, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.
