Frank William was the first born child of Charles Henry Msrtin and Anna Kate (Hoenschurz) Martin. He married Violet Miller on Aug 23, 1896, in Racine, Wisconsin. Frank and Violet had 7 children: Robert, Theodore, Helen, Clifford, Violet, Frank, and Doris. They raised their children in Chicago, Illinois where Frank worked as a railway mail clerk. Upon retirement they moved to the Los Angeles area where four of their children had settled. Violet died in 1956 and Frank, as a widower, lived with daughter, Doris, in the San Fernando Valley. He passed away March 5, 1963, at Mountain View Sanitarium, Slymar, California, from a cerebral thrombosis. He was cremated March 8, 1963, at Grand View Crematory, Glendale, California.
