JENNINGS -- Funeral services for Ophelia Miller, 95, will be at 9:30
a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic
Church.
Monsignor Vincent Sedita will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Visitation is 2:30-9 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 6 p.m.; and from 8
a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
She died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in a Jennings care
facility.
A native of Grand Chenier, she was a resident of Jennings for 69 years.
She was a graduate of SLI, and was a teacher in Cameron Parish. She
was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the
Ladies Altar Society.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
