Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel for A. V. Pope, 62, of Corsicana who died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Gene Gardner will officiate, and burial will be at Midway Cemetery in Navarro County.

He was a member of the Wesley Methodist church and a retired employe of the Mobile Oil Co. after 40 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eunice Pope of Corsicana; a son, C. V. Pope of Beaumont; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Harrison of Corsicana; a step-daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Reppond of Pasadena; his mother, Mrs. Maud Pope of Corsicana; a brother, Billy Pope of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren�Mark, Mylea, and Michelle Harrison of Corsicana, Sammy and Cindy Pope of Beaumont and Kyle Reppond of Pasadena. Pallbearers include Ray York, Willie Lewis, Andrew Stelle, Sam Nagy, Edward Harrison and M. R. Morris.
