On October 10, 1907, Cynthia married Louis Dewitt Coburn (1889-1953) in Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama. She died on July 6, 1965 (aged 73) in Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama and is buried at Florence City Cemetery, Plot B1-03 in Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama. Her known children include: Ella Lucille Coburn, Marshall Reece Coburn, Mattie Loraine Coburn, Ralph Dewitt Coburn, Lillian "Lillie" Mae Coburn, Cynthia Aurelia Coburn, James Simpson Coburn and Louis Jackson Coburn.
