Geauga Record, Chardon, OH, Thursday, 12 April 1962. "Harrison Rowley died Wednesday, March 28, at his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. following a lingering illness. He was born in Claridon on November 6, 1888 and resided there until 1956 when he moved to Florida. He was a farmer owning property North of Claridon Center. He had served on the Board of Education, as a trustee, a member of Claridon Grange and of Congregational church. He is survived by his wife Elsie, sons Robert of Claridon and James of Glendora, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Gould of Newbury and Bella Wilmot of Claridon and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 1, in Burr Funeral home, Rev. Robert Christenson, pastor of Claridon Congregational church officiated. Interment was in Claridon cemetery
