GALIVANTS FERRY - Connie Page Stroud, age 56, of Page Road died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her residence following an illness.

Ms. Stroud was born in Mullins, SC, a daughter of H. M. and Ruth Johnson Page. Ms. Stroud was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany and then in the Army National Guard. She completed the Licensed Practical Nurse Program at Horry Georgetown Technical College and was a nurse with Home Health Incorporated in Florence, SC.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Galivants Ferry are: two sons, Lennon Ray Stroud, Jr. and his wife, Tonya of Nichols and Christopher Wayne Stroud, Sr. and wife Betty of Galivants Ferry, SC; nine grandchildren, Harley Williamson, Steven Johnson, Haley Alford, Scooter Alford, Alexander Stroud, Hampton Dale Ray Stroud, Christopher Wayne Stroud, Jr., Maranda Floyd, and Michael Meares; one great grandchild, Ian Williamson; one brother, Bobby Page of Galivants Ferry; one sister, Nancy Page Larrimore of Columbia, SC; three nieces and a nephew, Jaime Siratt, Alison Larrimore, Katie Page, and David Page.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday from Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Internment will follow in Florence National Cemetery at 3:00 PM directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
