He was born Oct. 30, 1952, in New Hampton, son of Edward Fletcher and Betty Schlindwein Ramsey.
He was a graduate of Columbus High School and was employed for several years in the foundry at Deere Co. He later worked in construction in the Waterloo area.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica and Kristin Ramsey, both of Waterloo; his mother of Waterloo; and two sisters, Pat Bouthilet of Woodbury, Minn., and Donna Podvin of New Brighton, Minn.;
he was preceded in death by his father in 1981.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. _______..... Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home, where there-will be a 7 p.m. vigil service.
