October 23 - On Thursday, October 17, Irvine Caltenbaugh of Johnstown and Miss Pearl Studebaker of this place were united in marriage by Rev. Hilliary, at the residence of the bride's father, T.R. Studebaker. The men, women, boys and girls got in their work in the evening serenading the young couple, as the bride was a very popular young lady of this community and beloved by all. The happy couple left on Friday for Johnstown, where they will reside. Pearl will be missed in the church, Sunday school, the home and at our socials, as she was a jolly, good-hearted girl with a good word for every one. We wish them a long and happy life together.
