Debbie attended schools in Converse County and lived all her life in the county. She was an accomplished artist and loved the outdoors, riding horseback, and her numerous pets. She worked most of her years at the Converse County Memorial Hospital beginning as secretary and advancing to being in charge of their computer system. She never married.
She passed away November 19, 2002. Surviving was her mother; a brother, Dale Alberts and wife Melanie; nephews Erik and Kevin Alberts and step-grandmother, June Tiedt. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Fay and Mary Harris; and grandfather, Robert R. Tiedt.
