Benjamin Frank White, well-known resident of Adamstown, died Sunday morning at Washington, D.C., where he had been a patient at a hospital for the past three weeks. His death followed an operation. He was 80 years of age.

Mr. White, who had been blind since early youth, had been a resident of Adamstown during his entire adult life, having moved from hear Licksville where he was twenty years old. For the past several months he had been making his home with his brother, J. Furr White, of Poolesville. He was a life-long Democrat and was held in high regard in his community. Mr. White was unmarried. Two brothers, Arthur White, of Adamstown, and Furr White, Poolesville, and a sister living in Morgantown, W. Va. survive.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at two o'clock, with interment in Beallsville cemetery.
