Ross Vernon Duvall son of Joseph Carle Duvall and Maggie Stevens Duvall, was born at Waverly KS June 30, 1889 and passed away May 11, 1967 at Newman hospital Emporia Ks
In 1917 he married Lelia Albert also of Waverly they had one son Leland Ross His church affiliation was with the Waverly Baptist Church.
At an early age he became a rural letter carrier from the Waverly Post office serving over 50 years before retireing in 1959 he was active in the Rural Letter Carriers Association and served as State President and Secretary.
He was a veteran of WWI and a charter member of the American Legion Post 119 Waverly he was also a member of the Waverly AF&AM Lodge 244 and member of Scottish Rite Consistory of Topeka.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers Lauren Ray and Mart Steven Duvall.
He leaves his wife Lela of the home and his son Leland and wife Mary Ann and four grandchildren, Steven Ross, Stacia Ann, Gregg Alan, and Carol Lee, three nephews two nieces several cousins and a host of friends
Services at Jones Funeral Home Waverly Sunday May 14, at the Waverly Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl McNabb officiating.
