In Loving Memory of Edward Viking Swanson

Edward was born in San Francisco, California on June 9, 1910. He passed away in Auburn, California on September 19, 2008 at the age of 98 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Mildred B. Swanson; daughter, Marilyn Lusby; his parents; one brother; and one sister. Edward is survived by his son, Edward L. Swanson (Pauline); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Edward was known as "The Great Inventor." He was very proud to have built his home in Meadow Vista which he lived in for 25 years and is still standing to this day.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills. A Graveside Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the New Auburn Cemetery.
