1901, 15 Oct: Conrad Emil "Coon" Wiese was b. on a farm nr Manning, Carroll Co., Iowa. He was the son of Fredrich "Fred" & Matilda Louise GOETTSCH Wiese.

1924, 03 Dec: Conrad Emil WIESE (23) b. IA wed Myrtle HOLDSWORTH (23) b. IA in Manilla, Crawford Co., IA

1925, 06 May: a son, Vernus Emil Wiese, was b. on a farm
nr Harlan, Jefferson Two, Shelby Co., IA.

1927, 01 Jan: A second son, Virgil Conrad Wiese, was b.
in/nr Manilla, Crawford Co. IA

1930, -- ---: They were living at 1218 Graham Avenue in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He lost his left arm when he was on Broadway and a guy was making a RH turn onto BDWY and sideswiped Coon's car. He never had a decent job, after that.

Coon and Myrtie divorced at the beginning of WWII.

Myrtie went to Seattle and became one of the "Rosie the Riveter" in the one of the Portland ship yards.

Coon was living at 829-5th Avenue prior to his going into the Mercy Hospital, when he was told he had cancer.

He is buried with his close kin (Myrtle, Vernus & Babe, Vernus' wife) in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa
