Aileen O'Connor, age 80, of Troy, Michigan, beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) O'Connor, passed away peacefully on May, 28, 2010 after a long and happy life.

Loving mother of Kathy Toth (Larry), Patty Strabbing (Jerry), Rick O'Connor (Julie), Maureen Yates (Randy), Sharon Schafran (Mike) and Bill O'Connor.

Proud grandmother of Lindsey, Kevin, Ryan, Kyle, Katie, Carolyn, Kelley, Sarah, Connor and Kate.

Cherished sister of the late Mary Dillon and two surviving sisters, Dorothy Norton of Bloomfield Hills and Joan McCarthy of Grand Rapids.

A graduate of Immaculata High School and University of Detroit, Aileen taught elementary school at Greenfield Village before marrying Dick.

Aileen was an avid golfer and life time member of the Detroit Golf Club and could be known to give her golf partners a run for their money. A financial wizard by her own making she was known to devour the Wall Street Journal from front to back every day of her life.
