Mrs. Butler Dies Thursday Morning

Mrs. Alice Butler, 62, died at her home in Washunga on Thursday morning at 8:30. Mrs. Butler has been confined to her bed for four months.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Washunga school house.

Mrs. Butler was Alice Shelton before her marriage to Tom Butler. She came to the Washunga community over 30 years ago from Proten, Mo. Mr. Butler preceded her in death a number of years ago. Also three children, William, Vernon and Goldie preced their mother in death.

Eight sons and two daughters, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive Mrs. Butler. The sons, Milton, Tom, Howard, Washunga; Miller, Newkirk, Raymond, Perry; Tony, Hart, Texas and daughters, Mrs. Jesse Roubedeaux and Nannie Kakedah.

Mrs. Butler was a member of the Baptist church.
