Hannah Doan married Moses Burris Jan. 11 1831 in Clinton, OH. In 1839-1840 they moved to IN, then to IL in 1850 after the birth of their last child.

Moses & Hannah's children were Caleb "Cal", Oleh, Mary Ellen, Elisha, Job Haynes, Timothy, Abraham or Abram, James W., Isaac, Elizabeth Ellen.

Died - In Liberty township, September 17, 1879, Mrs. Hannah Burris of typhoid fever. Mrs. Burris was the wife of an old settler of this county Mr. Moses Burris. Deceased leaves many friends and relatives to mourn her loss.
