GILLESPIE - Mrs. Edith Miller, 68, 116 Elizabeth St., died Sunday, July 9 at 6 a.m., at her residence.
Born October 26, 1909 in Gillespie, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Phoebe Jarman Huddleston. She was married to Virgil Miller Nov. 18, 1936 in Sawyerville.
Surviving besides her husband are, one son and three daughters, Gary Lester Miller of Decatur; Mrs. Maxine Bodi of Benld, Mrs. Delores Elledge of Litchfield and Miss Carol Miller of Springfield. She also leaves eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Hadis Nupute of Clear Lake, Fla.
Graveside services were held Wednesday morning in Elm Lawn Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Harbin, Baptist minister of Jacksonville officiating.
Pallbearers were Elmer Miller, Roy Bodi, Clinton Elledge, David Elledge, James VanDoren and Kenneth Tackabury.
