Mr. Sid Earp Succumbs After Lingering Illness.
Mr. Sid Earp, a highly respected citizen of Chickasaw County, died Sunday afternoon after an illness of several weeks, at his home near Enon.
Mr. Earp was seventy-four years of age, and throughout the years of his life had lived an up right Christian, uniting in early life with the Baptist Church. He was devoted to his family and loyal to friends, ready at all times to extend a helping hand to those in need. Many were his deeds of thoughtfulness and kindness. His suffering was borne with that cheerful Christian fortitude.
The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at McCondy, with Rev. W C Stewart, pastor of the Baptist Church, at Houston, officiating. He is survived by his wife, and five children.
