MRS. EUNICE MYERS DIES AT MILLIGAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice M. Myers, 39, who died at the home of her sisters, Mrs. A. C. Sams, at Milligan Saturday night, will be conducted from the Christian church at Gap Creek this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. John Meredith & Rev. John Hall will officiate. Burial will be made in the Hyder cemetery.

Mrs. Myrs was a native of Carter Co., being the daughter of the late James & Ladora Meredith, members of a prominent Carter Co. family. For the past several years, she has made her home in Roanoake, VA, she due to ill health was returned to the home of her sister, Mrs. A. C. Sams, at Milligan about 4 months ago. She was very active in religious circles until ill health prevented (can't read) & was a member of the Belmont Presbyterian church at Roanoke.
Surviving are her husband Roy Myers; 1 son, Roy Eston Myers, Jr.; 3 sisters, Mrs. A. C. Sams, of Milligan; Mrs. J. C. Bergandine, Decatur, IL; Mrs. Rex Slagle, Elizabethton; 3 brothers, Fred & Milburn Meredith, Gap Creek & Robert Meredith, Johnson City.
