Sherry W. Jennings, age 42, widow of Russell Wayne Jennings and mother of Nolan Jennings, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 27, 2010.

Born January 19, 1968, Salisbury, NC, she was the daughter of Alfred F. and Jean Pepper Wales. Sherry was a graduate and a Blue Belle of Dorman High School. She attended the University of South Caroling and Spartanburg Technical College. Sherry was a lifelong Episcopalian and attended St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.

In addition to her parents, Sherry is survived by a brother, Eddie Wales and his wife, Tracy and their children, Ella, Avery, and Annie of Columbia, SC; and her mother-in-law, Becky Jennings of Cowpens.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church conducted by the Reverend Dr. Drew Baker and the Reverend Marie Cope. A visitation will immediately follow the service in the Parish Hall. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
