Born on May 30, 1930, in Wellston, Georgia, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Hardy Self.
After high school, Jeanette worked for many years on Robins Air Force Base as a Key Punch Operator.
Of the Christian faith, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Jeanette was also an amazing cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Jackson; son, Randy Jackson; and grandson, T.J. Stokes.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Tommy Jackson (Debbie) and Cathy Stokes (Brink); granddaughter, Lacey Stokes; and sister, Sarah Sherman, all of Warner Robins.
The graveside service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Jeanette will be laid to rest.
