DUMAS - Katherine Burnett Crawford, 73, of Dumas died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beth Harrington, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Crawford was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Clarendon. She was a Dumas resident most of her life.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of Order of Dumas Eastern Star Chapter 653 for 22 years. She was a member of B&PW and on the board of the Moore County Animal Society. She was a past mother advisor of the Rainbow Girls. She was an office manager at DeKalb and Monsanto. She retired after 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, W.B. "Dub" Burnett and her second husband, Bill Crawford.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur Beach Burnett and wife, Helene, of Bremond and Allen Lee Burnett of Dumas; two daughters, Arlene Kay Burnett of Sunray and Alesia Bradley Gist and husband, John, of Amarillo; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two cousins, Dick Knight of Dalhart and Thomas Austin of Canyon.

The family suggests memorials be to Moore County Animal Shelter, Box 287, Dumas, TX 79029 or American Cancer Society, 403 Pear, Dumas, TX 79029.

The family will be at 723 N. Second, Dumas, TX 79029.
