August 1, 1902

Mrs. George Biggerstaff, aged 67 years, mother of Mr. O. M. Biggerstaff of this city, died very suddenly on Saturday afternoon at the family home near Gober. She had been in comparatively good health up to within a few days of her death and her recent illness was not considered serious. On the day of her death she was feeling better and was engaged in her household duties. While talking to several other members of the family she remarked that she must go look at her bread, and started to the kitchen for that purpose, but only took two or three steps in that direction when she sank unconscious to the floor. She was hastily picked up, but expired as she was being placed upon a bed. - Dodd City News.
