Florence Schnedler
Florence Anna Schnedler, 96, of Burlington, died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at the care center.
Born Sept. 12, 1908, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Fred and Katherine Louise Brookhiser Hartman. On April 21, 1925, she married Guy E. Schnedler in Burlington. He died April 15 , 1982.
Mrs. Schnedler was a homemaker. She also worked as a production worker for the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant.
She was of the Protestant faith. She loved to play bingo.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Shoemaker of Burlington; three grandchildren; six great -grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren;one sister, Marcella Bowman of Burlington; nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
The graveside committal service for Mrs. Schnedler will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Charles Stevens officiating.
