Frank Nathan Denton was the son of David Blessing Denton and Alice Alwilda "Allie" Denton of Denton's Valley. He was married twice and had four children by his first wife Millie Widener who died in 1918 of the Spanish Influenza after giving birth to their fourth child, a daughter. Their surviving children were Elsie, Cecil and Arthur. He had seven more children with his second wife Lillian Adams; Frances, Jesse, Charles, Mary, Lacy, Harvey and Dean Denton.
