Earla Hertzog Mentzer, 68, formerly of 213 Akron Road, Ephrata, died at Duke Convalescent Residence after a two-year illness.
She was the companion of Adam Rock, who died Nov 7 1986.
Born in West Cocalico Township, she lived most of her life in the Ephrata area. She belonged to Carpenter's Mennonite Church, Talmage.
She is survived by three sons, James Mentzer, Roy D. Mentzer, and Michael R. Mentzer, all of Ephrata. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and one brother, Elmer Mentzer, of Denver.
