Jane Archer Lanam
Died March 23, 1922 at Sioux City, Iowa at age 66 years, 11 months and 23 days. She was born in Noble Co., Ohio on March 30, 1855 and came to Brown Co., Ind. At age 19. After her marriage to Wm. Lanam on Oct. 26, 1880, she lived here until 1916 when she went to Sioux City. They had 2 daus., & 1 son; a dau. Died in infancy and the son, Homer, died March 26, 1920. Surv. Are her husband, her daughter, Opal Rogers of Trevlac, Br. Co. Also surv. Are four sisters; Mrs. Hannah Sisson, Anderson, Ind. Mrs. Mary Fleener, Trafalgar, Ind. Mrs. Maggie McClary, Nashville, Mrs. Rebecca McCoy, Morgantown. Mrs. Lanam joined the Christian Church at Needmore at age 21.
