Orville Barchard was my great-grandfather. He was married to Mary Draga Fauver, and they were the parents of my grandmother Cora Barchard ( married to Henry Paul Bassett) , m Rosetta and Morris Barchard. He was a life long farmer in Grafton, Ohio except for the years that he and his brothers served in the Ohio Volunteer Army during the Civil War.
His granddaughter was my mother, Donna Bassett , married to my father Arthur Watson, both from the North Eaton, Ohio area. Orville Barchard's wife, daughter Cora ( 18 8919 63), and granddaughter Donna Bassett Watson ( 19 1419 94) are all laid to rest at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, North Eaton, Ohio.
