Owns 185 acres on Section 11 [Fulton Township], beside 480 acres in Iowa. Married, in 1842, Miss Clarinda CHIPMAN, who was born in Windham Co., Vt., Feb. 23, 1821. Have six children - Ella, born Nov. 13, 1843; Alonzo, born April 6, 1846; Mary E., born Sept. 15, 1849; Sarah S., born Sept. 8, 1851; Kirk, born May 10, 1856; Lillian B., born Dec. 15, 1859; Levi A., born April 11, 1845, died April 22, 1847. Was Supervisor two terms; served on the School Board for some years; attend the United Brethren Church.
