Born August Wilhelm Mueller, son of Charles (Carl) August Mueller and Pauline Friederike Henkel.
Married Jane Henderson on 14 March 1912. She died in 1920. Father of Arthur and Gertrude.

CHAFFEE – Wm. W. Miller, 84 years old, of Chaffee died Thursday afternoon in a Cape Girardeau nursing home.
Mr. Miller, a retired farmer had lived in the Chaffee area since 1935 and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church here.
He was born March 13, 1887, near Gordonville. He was married to the former Miss Jane Henderson of Daisy who preceded him in death in 1920.
Survivors are a brother, Otto Miller, Jackson; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Snell, McClure, IL; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. A son and a daughter preceded him in death.
The body is at the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home in Chaffee where funeral services will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon. The Rev. G. B. Seboldt, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Gordonville.
