A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville, with Rev. Father Tom Biersack officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Mayville.
Gertrude was born on July 26, 1923 to Gottfried and Bertha (Feller) Kraeuche in Hartford, WI. She was a graduate of Bruce High School. She was united in marriage to Leslie Gnerlich on November 30, 1946 in Mayville. Gertrude was employed at Rilling & Endlich Furniture Factory in Mayville, as well as at TAB Products in Mayville.
Gertrude was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville. She was a member of Hartford Senior Citizens, Mayville VFW Auxiliary, and the Mayville Historical Society. She was also a volunteer at Bethesda in Horicon.
Gertrude is survived by her children- Janet Hartman of Chadron, NE and Gregory (Lindy) Gnerlich of Hartford, WI; her grandchildren- Paul, Tane, Trent, and Miranda; her great grandchildren- Addisyn, Isaac, and Jax; her special friend Christine Metke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leslie, 2 sisters Evelyn & Kaetchen, and her brother George.
