OBITUARY: Neosho Times, Nov. 24, 1938 - HENDRICKSON - Mrs. M. A. Tabor Hendrickson was born Oct. 4, 1880 in Newton County. She was the daughter of G. B. and Melisa J. Tabor. Early in life she joined the Primitive Baptist church of which she was a member until her death Saturday, Nov. 19 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Brown of route 3. She was married to R. B. Hendrickson June 18, 1902, whose death occurred some time ago. Mrs. Hendrickson is survived by two children, one sister, six grandchildren, nine nieces, seven nephews, and many other relatives and friends. She was so gentle and patient she will be greatly missed in her home but we could not wish her back to suffer as she did in her last days. God is holding her spirit in a home in which we hope to dwell when from this world we have to part. Words cannot express the thanks for the many kind deeds of the friends and neighbors in the neighborhood during her sickness and death. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. G. T. Kelly, missionary for the Shoal Creek Baptist Association, at the Brown home Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Brown cemetery.
