Mathilda "Tillie" first husband was Joseph Schwarzmueller

Suffering a heart attack as she sat in her home awaiting the visit of a friend, Mrs. Jacob Furdner was called by death last Wednesday noon. Her sudden death came as a shock to her many friends as she had apparently been in the best of health up to the time of her death.

Mrs. Furdner, nee Mathilda Zarlinger, was born in Althof, Germany, 63 years ago. She was first married to Joseph Schwartzmiller, who preceded her in death. She later married Jacob Furdner on Oct. 15, 1907, in Germany.

The family came to this country in 1914, and for the past few years have resided on a farm east of this city.

Surviving are Mr. Furdner, the children, Ed. Schwartzmiller, West Allis; Adolph Schwartzmiller, Kewaskum; Joseph Schwartzmiller, in Germany; Mrs. Philip Krebsbach, West Allis; and Mathilda, at home; and a sister, Mrs. George Albert, Stratford.

The funeral was held on Friday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. R. A. Kramer officiating. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.
