(247) 7/27/1928:
Floyd Elmer Browder age 4y.3m.9d. son of Mrsses Charles Browder of Ava died of hydrophobia 7/20/1928 at Children's Hospital in St Louis at 10:45 PM. He was bitten on the night of 6/23/1928 by a passing dog while at play with the children in a street near his home. One of the boys knocked the dog off the boy. He was fine for a few days then got worse. Thursday the doctors declared him hydrophobic and Friday sent him to St. Louis where he died that night.
Buried in Glenn Cemetery.
