Pioneer Dies Today
Mrs. Susan Post succumbs to attack of pheumonia
Death followed brief illness - deceased was in seventieth year.
Mrs. Susan Post, one of the pioneers of Allen county died at her home on North Washington at 9 o'clock this morning in the seventieth year of her age. She had been ill but three or four days, death being due to an attack of pneumonia. Within the past week Mrs. Post had been down town shopping, apparently in the best of health and the news of her sudden death will be a great shock to her many friends. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star of this city, was a prominent member of the Presbyterian church and was beloved by all who knew her. The bereaved relatives are Mrs. Edna Wilson, Coffeyville; Mrs. Bennie Tuggles, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Minnie Peterson, Tacoma, Washington, and Mrs. Sadie Anderson of Oklahoma, all of whom are daughters of the deceased. The funeral services will probably be conducted from the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock.
