PORT LAVACA — Mrs. Charles L. Adams, 70, of Seadrift died Saturday at 7:30 a.m. in the local hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles Moss of Angleton, former minister of the First Christian Church here, officiating.
Burial will be in Seadrift Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born June 26, 1905, in North East, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lundgren. She had lived in Seadrift for the past 15 years, coming from California.
Survivors include her husband, of Seadrift; two sons, Charles M. of Point Comfort and James G. of Seadrift; two brothers, Melvin Lundgren and Carl Lundgren, both of California; a sister, Mrs. W. G. Cutbirth, also of California; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
