John David Andre was born October 3, 1912, at Wilsonville, NE to John B. and Maude
(Keeler) Andre. He was a 1930 graduate of Wilsonville High School. On October 7, 1934, he married Virginia Lyons at Goodland, KS. He owned and operated an auto dealership in McCook and later in Wilsonville. He was a member of the Wilsonville United Methodist Church. He joined the Wilsonville Masonic Lodge and when it closed he transfered his membership to Beaver City and then to Arapahoe. He was also a member of Tehama Western Shrine in Hastings. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Suzanne Perdue in 1968 and a sister, Catherine. Survivors include one daughter, Sherry and husband, Donald Becker, of Rockledge, FL; two sons Jan and wife, Lori, of Boise, Idaho, and Dan and wife, Sheila, of Lincoln; a sister, Maude Fisher of Valentine; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He died Wednesday February 22, 1995 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He was 82 years old. Services were at 10:30 Monday February 27th at the Wilsonville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Coate and Rev. Bruce Fetters officiating. Burial was in the Wilsonville cemetery. Memorials may be addressed to the church.
