John B. "Jack" Bell, 77, of Chillicothe, died 9:54 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born August 13, 1937, in Chillicothe, to the late James W. and Mae O'Dell Bell. On November 10, 1954, he married the former Charlene N. Dye who survives.
Also surviving are children, Jon A. (Deana) Bell, of Chillicothe and Steven D. (Natalie) Bell, of Glouster, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua (Tessa) Bell, Lauren (John) Arthurs, Eric (Laurel) Lenox, Steven "Gus" (Angela) Bell, Andrew Bell and Zachary Bell; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Mark Bell; a sister, Dorothy Probasco; and brothers, James R. and William A. Bell.
Jack was a member of Brookside Church. He retired from the Mead Corporation.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
