Levi Achenbach, aged 50 years, 5 months and 6 days, died at his residence in Millcreek township, Lebanon county, about three miles south of Newmanstown, after an illness of about one week of pneumonia. Deceased was born in Lebanon County, and was a son of the late Levi and Mary (nee Putt) Achenbach. He was a member of Elias Reformed church, of Newmanstown. He is survived by his widow, Mary (nee Sonnen) and 12 children: Katie, Christie, Edna, Mabel, Mildred, Levi, Peter, LeRoy, Elwood and Richard, at home; Lucy, wife of John Schell and Horace, living on the South Mountain; four sisters, Mrs. George Putt and Mrs. Charles Keppley, of Reading; Mrs. Frank Ream, Palmyra, and Mrs. Oliver Weible, West Reading; four brothers, Harry, Womelsdorf; Morris, Lebanon; Andrew, Millbach, and Albert, residence unknown.
