Lucille E. Allen, 79, of 2911 Broadway died at 6:29 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 6, 1988) in Blessing Hospital.
Mrs. Allen was born May 31, 1908, in Brooklyn, a daughter of Charles and Alta Hillyear Parsons. She married Jesse L. Allen, Aug. 13, 1927, in Monmouth. He died Sept. 27, 1982.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Parkview Church and the 29 Club of Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Carroll Allen of Mountain Home, Ark., James Allen of Quincy, and William Allen of Palmyra, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Russell (Anna) Chapman, Mrs. LeRoy (Dorcas) King, Ethel Willingham, and Mrs. Walter (Virginia) Kaelber, all of Quincy; a granddaughter she reared, Mrs. Mark (Paulette) Wiewel of Mendon; two sisters, Goldie Young of Cedar Lake, Ind., and Mary Collins of Quincy; 35 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Vera Huechteman of Quincy.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Mount Horeb Cemetery near Golden.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Parkview Church.
