STATESBORO - Homer Heath, 90, died Dec. 8 at Sunrise Nursing Home. He was born in Bulloch County and farmed for many years in the Westside community. He was a deacon of Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.
Survivors: his wife, Beatrice Parrish Heath of Statesboro; a stepdaughter, Faye Chester of Statesboro; six stepsons, Fred Parrish of Statesboro, Robert Parrish of Savannah, Ferrell Parrish of Atlanta, Wayne Parrish of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Sam Parrish of Jonesboro and James Parrish of Nanuet, N.Y.; a sister, Thelma Costley of Statesboro; several stepgrandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and several step-nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.
